Went out to the pond with my son this evening and managed to nail a whopping 6.12 pound largemouth using a Manns baby bass square bill crankbait..She hit my lure right near the strom drain about 12ft away from the bank in about 8-9ft deep water..I caught a 7 1/2 pounder in the same spot a few weeks back on a spinnerbait..It seems the bass havent quite made that shallow water transition just yet for im still catching them in deeper waters..I swept the banks from left to right with no other bites other than the 6.12 pounder
