Took my grandsons to a family pond for some fishing last Saturday afternoon. Figured some cane poles and worms to catch some bluegills would work well for 3 and 5 year olds on their second fishing trip.
Got the poles bated, and of course fish were on. I couldn't get the blue gills off the poles quick enough. We ended up catching 3 bass that ate hooked bluegills, one literly leaping out of the water to snatch a fich being hoisted to the pier! Two went over 3 pounds,(on digital scales) and the smaller one looked to be about 1 3/4 to 2.
A good time was had by all!
